Conveniently located steps away from the Denver Wild Bird Unlimited Store, the Bear Creek greenbelt is home for a plethora of unique species of bird. Sharp-shinned and Coopers hawks can be seen flying over the river hunting for rodents, while Northern Flickers call from the Cottonwoods. A rich diversity of avian life is not all that the Bear Creek greenbelt has to offer as it is also home to a large colony of Prairie Dogs that never fail to entertain.
